The Anthology is currently closed to submissions.
While the official submission deadline passed on December 12, 2014, please contact us to discuss your interest in the anthology.
Previous Call for Stories:
We are taking submissions of short stories, poetry, or plays of less than 7,500 words. The general category is speculative fiction which here includes science fiction, fantasy, utopian and dystopian fiction, post-apocalyptic fiction, and alternate histories. In addition, we are taking submissions of U.S. Latino/a speculative art and photography. These artworks will be included as separate entries, not as illustrations. In total, we expect that around twenty Latino/a authors and artists will be participating in the anthology.
We prefer that stories and images be original and unpublished. We will, however, consider published work. The submissions do not need to be centered on a particular topic. The anthology will instead affirm the diversity of interests and concerns of Latinos/as. Although the anthology will be published in English, submissions can be in English, Spanish, or any Latin American indigenous language.
Our Kickstarter Campaign was successful, and so we have $6,000 set aside to pay the writers and artists for their contributions.
